To better accommodate the public, the Town Board will start our meetings an hour earlier beginning in January 2010. The meetings will now start at 7:00 p.m. The Town Board meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month, except for July and August when they meet only on the third Wednesday.

The change was suggested to the Board by Councilman William Mulligan and was agreed to by all members of the Board.

As a Town Board, we continue to look for ways to best serve our constituents, so I thank Councilman Mulligan for proposing this change. Starting earlier will be more convenient for residents who wish to attend our meetings, for students and scouts who attend our meetings to fulfill scholastic or scouting requirements, and for Town staff whose duties necessitate their attendance at Town Board meetings.

2010 LPGA Championship in Henrietta

Exciting news for Henrietta!

The LPGA's 2nd major championship of the 2010 season will be played June 21-27, 2010 at Locust Hill Country Club on Jefferson Road in Henrietta. The tournament sponsor is Wegmans and proceeds from the tournament will benefit the United Way of Greater Rochester.

Town Board Approves 2010 Henrietta Budget 

At their November 4 meeting the Henrietta Town Board approved the Budget for 2010. Under the approved budget there will be no increase in the town tax rate which will remain at $1.21 per $1,000 of assessed value. This will be the 5th year in a row without a tax rate increase.
