The Department of Public Works is looking to fill several seasonal positions from April to October. Hours are from 7:00 – 3:30, Monday through Friday. Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Class D Driver’s License.

Some of the job duties include:

 Parks Department

  • Lawn maintenance with push mowers, string trimmers and riding movers;
  • Cleaning of town facilities;
  • Miscellaneous jobs throughout the town.


Highway Department

  • Assisting the road maintenance crews with asphalt and concrete work;
  • Perform maintenance and protection of traffic (flagging);
  • Miscellaneous jobs throughout the town.

  • Be able to work with a friendly and professional demeanor.
