Stephen Schultz was the co-founder of Pictometry and served as its Chief Technology Officer from 1996 through 2015, helping build the company from one employee, himself, to over 300. He has been granted over 85 patents on the underlying technology he created for Pictometry.

Prior to Pictometry, Steve worked at the RIT Center for Imaging Science where he developed new technologies for use in a wide range of fields including environmental, military, medical, and earth analysis.

Since Pictometry, Steve has been advising and investing in high technology start-ups across a spectrum of applications including multi-factor authentication and security, software to support first responders, software to analyze sounds to assist the Deaf and hard of hearing, and systems to create detailed analyses of tread wear.

In 2017, he entered local politics and was elected Henrietta Town Supervisor. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from RIT. He was named the Distinguished Alumni for the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences in 2007 and was named the Rochester Institute of Technology Outstanding Alumni in 2012.
