Nominations for Woman of Distinction and Veterans Hall of Fame

Senator Patrick Gallivan's office is looking for nominations of deserving individuals that live within the 59th Senatorial District (northern Livingston County, Henrietta, and Wheatland) for the following two awards:

Woman of Distinction is an award given to a woman that gives of herself to enrich her community

Veterans Hall of Fame is given to a Veteran that gives of themselves to help other veterans

Below are links to the forms that can be filled out to nominate deserving constituents. Senator Gallivan collectively ends up with about 15 nominations to choose only one for each award from his district.  In two separate ceremonies, the winner and their family, friends, etc. attend an impressive ceremony in the Capital, a reception in "the Well" of the Capitol, many photographs and our Chief of Staff gives a tour of this historic building that is informative and impressive.  We also do a ceremony locally for each award.  Past winners have expressed that "this was a memory they will never forget".
