June 15, 2023 Special Use Permit Public Hearing

A meeting will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., before the Henrietta Town Board to hear all persons with regards to the following Application for a Special Use Permit:

Application No. 2023-024: West Sunset Development, LLC – West Henrietta Road, to construct a senior housing facility with seven 10-unit buildings, in a Rural Residential Zoned District, Tax Account Nos. 202.01-2-2.001, 202.01-2-2.002, 202.01-2-2.003, 202.01-2-2.004, 202.01-2-2.005, as more particularly described in plans on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. (A project was formerly approved on these parcels for a five lot single family subdivision, but did not move forward.)

The public hearing was closed, but no action was taken. 

June 28, 2023 Town Board Meeting

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., before the Henrietta Town Board to consider making SEQR and Special Use Permit determinations on the following Special Use Permit application:

Application No. 2023-024: West Sunset Development, LLC – West Henrietta Road, to construct a senior housing facility with seven 10-unit buildings, in a Rural Residential Zoned District, Tax Account Nos. 202.01-2-2.001, 202.01-2-2.002, 202.01-2-2.003, 202.01-2-2.004, 202.01-2-2.005, as more particularly described in plans on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. (A project was formerly approved on these parcels for a five lot single family subdivision, but did not move forward.)

The Town Board withdrew this application from consideration and requested the applicant to address the density concerns.

August 30, 2023 Special Use Permit Public Hearing

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, August30, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., before the Henrietta Town Board to hear all persons with regards to the following Application for a Special Use Permit application (changes to the application are highlighted in bold italics):

Application No. 2023-024: West Sunset Development, LLC – West Henrietta Road, to construct a senior housing development with two 26-unit apartment buildings and four 4-unit ranch style apartment buildings with two of the 4-unit buildings designed to accommodate the Deaf and hearing impaired, in a Rural Residential Zoned District, Tax Account Nos. 202.01-2-2.001, 202.01-2-2.002, 202.01-2-2.003, 202.01-2-2.004, 202.01-2-2.005, or as more particularly described in plans on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. (A project was formerly approved on these parcels for a five lot single family subdivision, but did not move forward.)

The public hearing was held open to continue at a future meeting.

September 13, 2023 Special Use Permit Public Hearing

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., before the Henrietta Town Board to hear all persons with regards to the following Application for a Special Use Permit application.

Application No. 2023-024: West Sunset Development, LLC – West Henrietta Road, to construct a senior housing development with two 26-unit apartment buildings and four 4-unit ranch style apartment buildings with two of the 4-unit buildings designed to accommodate the Deaf and hearing impaired, in a Rural Residential Zoned District, Tax Account Nos. 202.01-2-2.001, 202.01-2-2.002, 202.01-2-2.003, 202.01-2-2.004, 202.01-2-2.005, or as more particularly described in plans on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. (A project was formerly approved on these parcels for a five lot single family subdivision, but did not move forward.)

The public hearing was closed and no action was taken. The public hearing will be reopened once the applicant addresses the Town Board's concerns.

December 20, 2023 Special Use Permit Public Hearing

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., before the Henrietta Town Board to hear all persons with regards to the following Applications for a Special Use Permit (changes to the application are highlighted in bold italics):

Application Nos. 2023-024/045West Sunset Development, LLC – West Henrietta Road, in a Rural Residential Zoned District, Tax Account Nos. 202.01-2-2.001, 202.01-2-2.002, 202.01-2-2.003, 202.01-2-2.004, 202.01-2-2.005, or as more particularly described in plans on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. (A project was formerly approved on these parcels for a five lot single family subdivision, but did not move forward.)

  • 2023-024: to construct a senior housing development with two 26-unit apartment buildings and three 4-unit ranch style apartment buildings with eight units designed to accommodate the hearing impaired.
  • 2023-045: to allow a height of 40’, whereas Town Code allows 35’.

The public hearing was held open and will be continued at a future meeting.

March 27, 2024 Special Use Permit Public Hearing

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., before the Henrietta Town Board to hear all persons with regards to the following Applications for a Special Use Permit:
