This award is given annually in memory of the first ordained woman minister in the United States.  Born in Henrietta, NY, Antoinette Brown Blackwell was a tireless advocate for women's rights and education.

The 39th Antoinette Brown Blackwell Henrietta Woman of the Year Award will be given to Jody Day on May 11, 2022, at 6:00 pm at the Henrietta Town Board Meeting, Town Hall. 

At the wise age of 80, Jody is an inspiration serving our community with compassion and dedication.  Jody is a veteran and worked as a nurse for over 20 years.  She is a board member and driver for the Rush Henrietta Area Food Terminal and an afternoon school bus driver for the Rush Henrietta Central School District.
