Community Choice Aggregation Information Page

CCA Public Information Session August 2, 2023 6:30 PM

Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) is a New York State program that allows municipalities to use the combined buying power of their municipality to negotiate fixed-rate power contracts for those who have either not chosen an Energy Supply Company (ESCO) or those who choose to select one of the power contracts provided. Prior to the CCA contract kicking in, anyone who has not chosen an ESCO has the ability to opt out of the CCA or to select one of the contracts. Anyone who wishes to opt into the CCA may do so as well.

Note that the program is currently only available to Town residents who receive their power from RG&E.

Please see the new CCA FAQ Page for answers to common questions, including how to opt out by phone or email.
